Welcome to St Thomas the Apostle Catholic College, a community of faith and learning.

There is so much that could be written about the many achievements of which we are proud, from exam results at all levels, to success in drama, music, art and sport, but the underlying belief is that we have a mission to serve the spiritual, emotional and academic needs of all our pupils.  Each individual is of value and worthy of care and respect.

We have a traditional approach to learning, which means that there is an expectation that each boy will learn and succeed, whatever his background and circumstances, and that he will do so in a spirit of respect and care for everybody.

Boys leave us and go into the world as intelligent, well-qualified Christian young men.

We offer a fast track curriculum in Science, French, RE and Maths which allows boys to study AS subjects or extra GCSE courses in Statistics and Philosophy and Ethics.  There are also excellent opportunities for boys to participate in extra-curricular activities in Music, Art, Drama, Rugby, Soccer and Swimming.

It is the responsibility of all of us to face up to the future with courage, determination and faith so that we can continue to educate young men and equip them with the skills to make a positive, Christian contribution to society.  My words will give you a sense of our vision but in their learning and their lives the boys will say more than I can.  I invite all of you to visit to see the boys at work and play.

You are always welcome to see me beyond those visits if you wish to discuss our vision and how much your son can enjoy life and achieve in the College.

I wish you and your son well for the future.
