G&T Film Project Over the last 4 weeks, 6 boys in Year 9 (Timmy Abioye, Tom Akinrinde, Jonathan Oloyede, Tayo Shokunbi, Emmanuel Akinsanmi and Raymond Williams) have been working with Mr. Harman to develop a short film in French. After careful preparation and hours of hard work by the boys, filming took place last week, and the now-edited film has been finalised. The boys' production, about a young boy who moves to the UK from war-torn Ivory Coast, has been sent off to the BFI, after being entered into a London-wide film competition run by the Institute of Education. We will find out if the boys have been successful on Monday 20th June. In a week in which Attack the Block has hit our screens starring ex-pupil Leeon Jones, perhaps this film will mark the announcement of STAC's stars of the future! |
